Two photos and one burned beach bag.

Touring in Paros island with my girl in 2001. This picture was made of two individual pictures. While we were shooting photos, our beach bag was being barbecued over my 200cc Honda's exhaust pipe. We enjoyed shooting photos but got a slap a few moments later: "Honey, do you smell plastic burning, or is it my idea?... " You can imagine the follow-up. Posted by Picasa

Sunset over Manari

This amazing sunset is somewhere in Peloponese, Greece. It was shot on Jul 19, 2004 after a short weekend trip to my mother's birthplace in Arcadia. Posted by Picasa

Not fair... Not fair at all

Last week I got a ticket from a traffic police man. I was caught not wearing my helmet while driving back to the office on my motorbike. The truth is I was wearing it 10 minutes before I was caught, but I took it off after a quick stop to my DVD disck supplier store. That was only 300m away from my office which was were I was going right after the quick stop to buy the DVDs.
Holly shit... that guy was like he woke up that morning feeling ready to kick some ass. I apologized and promissed to put it on right away, but he was already issuing the ticket... No mercy.
I now have two options:
1. I pay the ticket and forget my weekend drive to a lovely island with my girl. That would credit the Greek authorities with an ammount of 83 Euros.
2. I don't pay the ticket, and go to court to resolve the issue.
If I choose the second option there are 2 possibilities:
a. I am mercifully treated and get away with it with no conviction. That would cost the Greek court authorities an ammount of money for the trial session of my case plus paperwork.
b. I get convicted to pay the ticket, plus an extra ammount for the trial expenses. That would credit the Greek authorities 83+40=123 Euros.
If option b. occures and I claim unhappy to pay this money, I must be put in jail for a period of about 10 days. That would cost the Greek authorities my meals in jail plus all the paperwork in courts and jailhouse...
That's why we keep growing our internal National debt year by year. I hope that policeman gets a cut back.

That's me on a rare moment of clarity Posted by Picasa
