Kapsias Cave in Arcadia Greece



This is the exterior fortification of two unexplored caves in central Peloponese, Arcadia area, very close to Tripolis town. The round windows on the upper part of the wall, plus the great big fenced doors at the lower part of the wall, in addition to the fact that the whole thing is below ground level and that it is surrownded by a trench, tells me that this is part of something like a water disposal network system.

I say this because my friend and I fount another similar construction (smaller) about 500m to the north from this cave, and they both were connected by canals on the ground:

This particular cave looks very deep.
